Park Ridge Police Blotter for the week of Aug. 23, 2012

The following incidents were listed in the weekly bulletin prepared by the Park Ridge Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Alexander Turner, 18, of the 9400 block of Maple Drive, Rosemont, was charged with disorderly conduct the night of Aug. 19 after he allegedly ran from police who were investigating a call of a possible attempted burglary on the 1600 block of Dempster Street. He was released on his own recognizance and assigned a Sept. 11 adjudication date.
BURGLARY
A generator and tools were stolen overnight between Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 from a garage on the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
BURGLARY TO VEHICLE
An I-Pass and cell-phone cord were stolen Aug. 11 from a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 900 block of Forestview Drive. A second vehicle parked on the block was also burglarized, but nothing was reported stolen.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
A rock was thrown at a vehicle the afternoon of Aug. 11 while a woman was driving it along the 300 block of Summit Avenue. The front passenger-side door sustained a dent.
Between Aug. 13 and Aug. 15 someone kicked out the planks of a fence near the northeastern corner of Dominick’s, 1900 S. Cumberland Ave. Police said it was the sixth time the fence was damaged.
THEFT
All four wheels were stolen off two vehicles parked overnight between Aug. 9 and Aug. 10 at the Napleton Dealership, 826 W. Touhy Ave.
A bicycle was stolen on the night of Aug. 10 from a bike rack on the first block of South Prospect Avenue.
A woman reported that her tote bag was stolen Aug. 14 after she left it on the bleachers at Centennial Park, 100 S. Western Ave., and went for a run between 5:30 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. The bag contained clothing, keys and an iPad.
DUI
Nick DePaul Jr., 59, of the 8100 block of Grand Court, Niles, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage on the morning of Aug. 18. He was taken into custody at 1:56 a.m. at Oakton Street and Greenwood Avenue. Bond was set at $1,000. He has an Aug. 31 court date.
Andriy Vedenivskyy, 40, of the 7400 block of Foster, Morton Grove, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane usage on the morning of Aug. 19. He was taken into custody at 12:41 a.m. at Touhy and Prospect avenues. Bond was set at $1,000. He has a Sept. 7 court date.
