PARK RIDGE — Park Ridge Police detectives are working with the FBI in the search for a man who robbed a BMO Harris Bank in Park Ridge on Nov. 9.
Park Ridge Deputy Police Chief Lou Jogmen said a man in his 20s wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap entered the bank at 615 Busse Highway at 4:30 p.m. and presented a note to the teller, demanding money. No weapon was shown or implied and the man left the bank after the teller handed him an undisclosed amount of cash, Jogmen said.
A total of eight employees and one customer were inside the bank at the time, though “only two bank employees were even aware something had happened,” Jogmen said.
The Park Ridge Police Department did not release information about the robbery until today (Nov. 16) and an image of the suspect was not shared at that time.
