The Park Ridge Public Library has again invited Park Ridge native and author Michael Hainey to discuss his New York Times bestselling memoir, "After Visiting Friends."
"Brundibár" was written in 1938 by Jewish composer Hans Krása in the Nazi-occupied Czech Republic. This children’s opera was performed 55 times by children in the Terezin (Thereseinstadt) concentration camp to delude the outside world into thinking the Jews were being treated humanely.
