On Sunday March 11, a record 350 guests celebrated Avenues to Independence 15th Annual Irish Fest at the Meridian Banquets in Rolling Meadows.

Thanks to the generosity of guests and sponsors, more than $32,000 was raised to support Avenues programs and services. Additionally, $1,000 of the proceeds were contributed to support Avenues’ new computer center within our work center at Wheeling. The computer center is being designed to enhance our participants’ quality of life at work and at home.

Since 1953, Avenues has provide homes, jobs, and social opportunities to hundreds of adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other physical, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities so they can live and work in the community with independence and dignity.
