3 arrested in Norwood Park home invasion

Three people were arrested during a home invasion Monday in the Norwood Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Police responded about 7:30 p.m. when the homeowner reported three male suspects tried to kick in a door at his home in the 5800 block of North Oconto Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He provided their description to police officers, who searched the area and were able to locate all three suspects, Alfaro said. Nothing was taken from the home and no one was injured.

No charged have been filed as of early Tuesday.

Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
