Iannelli Studios Heritage Center in Park Ridge will be the recipient of proceeds from a special art class in glass candle-holder making.

The class is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Feb. 4 at the studio of artist Vicky Bellisario, owner of If an Elephant Can Paint, 6677 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. The Cost is $50. To reserve a seat call (773) 467-4595.

Taught by glass artist Rick Padilla, the class will offer participants a choice of making a votive holder in a draped style or a tea-light holder.

Ten percent of the profits from the class will go to the Iannelli Studios Heritage Center, 225 N. Northwest Highway. The Kalo Foundation is working to raise money for building repairs and renovation, with plans to turn the building into a place for classes, workshops and gallery exhibits.

The studio once belonged to artist Alfonso Iannelli who helped design Park Ridge’s Pickwick Theatre.
