False fire alarm alerts Park Ridge police to underage drinking party

A pulled fire alarm led to the arrest of a dozen teenagers on underage-drinking charges Memorial Day weekend, Park Ridge Police said.
Deputy Police Chief Lou Jogmen said that at 2:18 a.m. May 28, police and Park Ridge Fire Department personnel responded to a multi-family building on the 600 block of Touhy Avenue for an activated fire alarm.
While the Fire Department was evacuating the building several residents told police they saw teenagers standing near the main entrance who they believed were responsible for pulling the fire alarm, Jogmen said.
When officers spoke to the teenagers they reportedly learned that an 18-year-old girl was hosting a party in the building where alcohol had allegedly been consumed.
Police charged Lauren Siragusa, 18, of the first block of South Northwest Highway, Park Ridge, with underage drinking and using premises for unlawful consumption of alcohol by minors. Jogmen said the residence where the party took place belonged to a family member of Siragusa who was not at home at the time of the gathering.
Also charged with underage drinking were: Jacob Marshall, 18, of the 1400 block of Garden Street, Park Ridge; Joseph Galiotto, 18, of the 300 block of North Western Avenue, Park Ridge; Madeline Bednar, 18, of the 800 block of Indian Road, Glenview; Clare Dawdle, 18, of the 1000 block of Rolling Pass, Glenview; Alexander Stuart, 18, of the 2400 block of Woodlawn, Northbrook; Patrick Butler, 18, of the 1500 block of Highland, Wilmette; Joseph Grazioso, 18, of the 4700 block of North Chester, Chicago; Joseph Wallace, 18, of the 7300 block of North Ottawa, Chicago; James Hohenadel, 18, of the 4600 block of West Bryn Mawr, Chicago; and two 17-year-old Chicago boys.
All were released on their own recognizance and assigned a July 10 adjudication hearing date.
