Raid bug artist’s work featured at Park Ridge exhibit

An exhibit recognizing illustrator Donald Pegler will open June 15 with a special Memorial Show at the Kalo Foundation’s Iannelli Studios Heritage Center, 255 N. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge.
The show will be 7-9 p.m. and will feature Pegler’s sketches and cartoons. Pegler, who died in 2011, was best known for creating the cartoon Raid bugs featured in numerous commercials and advertisements. Pegler’s family is also scheduled to attend.
Pegler served as a member of the Kalo Foundation Board and will be remembered with special scholarships presented by Kalo this year.
