Park Ridge art exhibit features Raid-bug creator’s work

An exhibit showcasing the artistic talents of illustrator the late Donald Pegler opened this month at the Iannelli Studios Heritage Center in Park Ridge.

Pegler’s sketches and cartoons, including his bugs made famous through Raid ad campaigns, will be on display at the Heritage Center, 255 N. Northwest Highway, through July 15.

Visitors can see Pegler’s work between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays.

The Don Pegler Memorial Show is sponsored by Park Ridge’s Kalo Foundation.

Pegler, who served as a board member for the Kalo Foundation and was a resident of Park Ridge, is also being remembered in special scholarships presented by Kalo this year.
