It’s about to get buggy out there.
The Northwest Mosquito Abatement District is fearing an onslaught of nocturnal, Culex mosquitoes due to a hot, dry summer and a mild winter. Since Culex mosquitoes can potentially carry diseases like West Nile virus, efforts to avoid becoming mosquito food are important.
