PARK RIDGE — The Cook County Board of Review has notified the city of Park Ridge that Norwood Park Township property-valuation appeals will be considered now through Sept. 5.

Interested taxpayers must file a one-page complaint before the board analyzes comparable properties to determine if their property has been over-assessed in value.

Taxpayers may also present their own appraisal, comparable properties or other evidence showing the fair market value of their property.

There is no charge to file an appeal.

For more information call the Cook County Tax Assessor’s Office, (847) 470-7237.

The local office is located inside the Cook County Circuit Court building at 5600 W. Old Orchard Road, Skokie.
