Annual run/walk event to benefit social-service agencies in Park Ridge

PARK RIDGE — The 4th Annual Harry O’Brien Community Run/Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Aug. 25.
The event, which features a 3-mile run or a 1.5-mile walking course, takes off from the Park Ridge Senior Center, 100 S. Western Ave.
Children are also invited to participate in a 1.5-mile loop run and stroller, bicycles and dogs are also welcome.
Registration is $22 for adults and $15 for participants younger than 18.
Proceeds will benefit local social-service agencies.
