Railroad work to close Prospect Avenue in Uptown Park Ridge

PARK RIDGE—The railroad crossing at Prospect Avenue in Uptown Park Ridge will be closed beginning Monday, Sept. 17 due to rail work by Union Pacific, the city of Park Ridge has announced.

Signs detouring traffic in the area will be posted. The closure will last approximately 10 days.

In preparation for this construction work Union Pacific Railroad will be cutting asphalt at Prospect on Sept. 12. Traffic will be allowed to cross the tracks on this day, however.
