Toys for Tots collecting in Park Ridge

“We are excited to participate again this year,” said Park Ridge Police Chief Frank Kaminski. “I think that our efforts this holiday season are even more important given the increased number of families affected by the troubled economy.”

Unwrapped items can be dropped off in designated boxes at various city sites until Dec. 14. The locations include Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place; Fire Station #35, 901 W. Devon Ave.; Fire Station #36, 1000 N. Greenwood Ave.; the Park Ridge Police Station, 200 S. Vine Ave.; the Park Ridge Public Library, 20 S. Prospect Ave.; and the Public Works Service Center, 400 Busse Hwy.
