Park Ridge departments to share tips on holiday safety

PARK RIDGE — The Police, Fire and Public Works Departments of the city of Park Ridge will host a discussion on holiday safety on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 505 Butler Place.

A representative from the Police Department will share tips on crime prevention during the holidays; the Fire Department will provide information on fire safety to prevent fires associated with electric lights, candles and Christmas trees; and the Public Works Department will discuss snow removal and how to dispose of Christmas trees once the holiday is over.
