PARK RIDGE — A Park Ridge gas station was cited by police for allegedly selling tobacco to a minor during a recent law enforcement operation.
Park Ridge Police said a clerk at the Shell gas station at 900 W. Talcott Rd. sold a tobacco product to an underage, undercover informant during a Nov. 28 compliance check.
The operation was conducted at all city businesses that have a license to sell tobacco, police said. Eighteen establishments passed the compliance check, according to police.
