PARK RIDGE — Park Ridge Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a convenience store at gunpoint on the morning of Dec. 21.

Deputy Police Chief Lou Jogmen said a man wearing a black knit cap, black sweater and dark glasses entered 7-Eleven, 976 N. Northwest Hwy., around 3:30 a.m., displayed a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money. An employee, a 25-year-old Chicago man, gave the robber cash and the suspect left the store. He was last seen on foot heading west on Oakton Street.

Jogmen said just over $200 was stolen. Police called in the Rosemont Police Department’s K-9 Unit to assist in the investigation, Jogmen said.
