ARC Disposal collecting Christmas trees

PARK RIDGE — ARC Disposal will be collecting discarded Christmas trees during regularly scheduled refuse collection days during the week of Jan. 7.

Park Ridge residents should place trees curbside the night before their regular refuse collection day. Trees should be free of any bags, decorations, lights and garland. No other brush will be collected, including wreaths.

Christmas trees that are collected will be chipped for mulch.

After the week of Jan. 7 trees should be placed next to the refuse cart on regular collection days.
