Bank of America robbed in Mount Prospect

MOUNT PROSPECT — Police and federal agents are searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America office in Mount Prospect on Thursday afternoon.
The robbery happened about 2:45 p.m. at the bank in the 1000 block of South Elmhurst Road, according to FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde. No weapon was shown and no injuries were reported
The suspect presented a demand note and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, the statement said.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray gloves and a white mask with black stripes that covered his face.
