PARK RIDGE — The Park Ridge Police Department will present a “Keepin’ It Real Burglary Presentation” to offer advice to residents on how they can work to prevent burglaries.

The seminar, conducted in partnership with the Chicago Police Department and Illinois Department of Corrections, will take place on Wednesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place.

Illinois Department of Corrections inmates currently in the work-release portion of their sentence will present information about the crimes that they have committed and discuss what can effectively deter someone from breaking into a home or vehicle. Audience members can also take part in a question-and-answer segment with the inmates and Chicago Police Department representatives.
