Orchesis to perform this weekend at Maine South

Maine South High School’s Orchesis Dance Company will present “Elements,” an evening of original dances, at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 in the school auditorium, at 1111 S. Dee Road, in Park Ridge.
Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the door.
This year’s show will feature a variety of dance styles, most of the pieces choreographed by students.
For the second year the show will also feature dancers from Emerson Middle School in Niles and Lincoln Middle School in Park Ridge, said Orchesis sponsor Amelia Faulstick.
Students in Maine South’s advanced dance class will also perform.
