District 64 schools provide soundtrack to the holidays

PARK RIDGE — Schools in Park Ridge-Niles District 64 will again make music for the holidays during annual Holiday Sings and concerts this month.

On Thursday, Dec. 6 Emerson Middle School’s Symphonic and Jazz bands will perform at the school, 8101 N. Cumberland Ave. in Niles, and Lincoln Middle School’s Beginning Band, Percussion Ensemble and Symphonic Band will perform at Lincoln, 200 S. Lincoln Ave. Performances will begin at 7 p.m.

Choral concerts are scheduled at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13 in Emerson Middle School’s multi-purpose room and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 in Lincoln’s Winslow Hall.

The following Holiday Sings will also take place:

• Carpenter School, 300 N. Hamlin, on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the north gym.

• Field School, 707 N. Wisner Ave., on Thursday, Dec. 20 and Friday, Dec. 21 in the north gym.

• Franklin School, 2401 Manor Ln., on Wednesday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Dec. 20 in the auditorium.

• Roosevelt School, 1001 S. Fairview Ave., Thursday, Dec. 20 in the south gym.

• Washington School, 1500 Stewart Ave., on Friday, Dec. 21 in the gym.
