Park Ridge letter to the editor: Taxpayers are being ripped off
The politicians are at it again! Giving away taxpayer money when people are losing their jobs and having their homes foreclosed. Don’t they understand you need to lower taxes, not raise them during economic hard times? They need to cut payrolls and freeze wages, not raise them. The manager of human resources says we need to keep up “employee morale.” The city workers are lucky to have a job. If their morale is compromised, remove them and hire someone who is happy to have a job. What we as taxpayers need to do is remove the people who represent special interest groups and not the people of Park Ridge.
